Pull Up Weeds

Weeds have a way of sneaking up on us mid-summer. Rid your raised bed of weeds now, before they go to seed and while spring soil is soft.

Top Off Soil

Natural decomposition and compaction from snow and rain gradually shrinks your raised bed soil level. If it has dropped more than an inch or two, add some clean topsoil.

Work in Nutrients

Adding a 2-inch deep layer of compost to your raised beds in early spring to loosen the soil, improve moisture retention, and gradually feed your plants all summer long.
