● After commiserating with friends over the constant problem of sheets balling up and throwing her machines off balance, Cyndi knew there had to be a solution.

With no background in engineering, product development, or manufacturing, Cyndi taught herself a modeling computer-aided design program and created different versions until she got what she wanted. In June of 2020—in the middle of a pandemic—Cyndi launched her business and the rest is laundry history.

● Eli and Matt were at a small-town wedding in Illinois when they realized their families shared a strategy for helping their children sleep. They would position a fan to point towards a wall, and the ambient sound would mask noises that may have woken their children.

Using Eli’s background in fluid dynamics, the team set out to make something better than the noise machines they found on the market, and developed their solution—a proprietary fan impeller and acoustic chamber that combine to create SNOOZ’s signature fan sound.
