Get to know Kirk & Morgan, the Makers helping you open containers with ease

We’ve all struggled to open a jar’s lid that seems to be super-glued shut, but this husband and wife team created a solution that gives your fingers super strength.

The Makers:

It all started during a weekend gathering of family and friends with A LOT of stubborn containers. 

Kirk noticed multiple people asking for help opening different types of containers. When Morgan then asked for help with THREE more containers later that night, they knew they’d discovered a true need.

They imagined a portable, well-designed bottle opener that’s small and portable enough to be ready for any situation. Drawing on his previous experience with durable food-grade rubbers, Kirk set to work putting rubbers through the wringer to obtain the optimal material and features. 

While Kirk tinkered, Morgan tested prototypes while providing user feedback. Together, after a year's worth of testing, they decided it was time to introduce MiniGrip to the world.
