That’s why the team at LUCA searched the globe for comfortable, long-lasting natural materials, from supple suede to cushy Lactae Hevea natural crepe rubber soles made from the milk of the Hevea tree. Then, through meticulous craftsmanship, they built shoes that are a simple joy to wear no matter where on Earth you find yourself. To test out the first batch, we met up with Ido Yoshimoto, a Northern California artisan making some of the coolest furniture in the world. Dive into the full story in The Journal.
